The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia stated that the Eid Prayers could be offer at home.

In an Interview with Arab News Agency, Saudi Grand Mufti and chairman Saudi Scientific and Research council Abdul Aziz Al shaikh said that in current unusual and Global pandemic situation, it is advisable to offer Eid prayers at home.

Eid Prayers can offer at home, and the prayer could offer both solely and in congregation, he said.

Emphasizing on people to offer prayers at home, the Grand Mufti said that in such circumstances the parents should spend most of the time with children.

It should be noted that due to coronavirus pandemic the Tarawih were also instructed to offer at homes. Only few people could offer prayer at Masjid-e-Haram while five-time prayers at Mosque are also banned.

The Saudi Government also announced to impose curfew during Eid days due to the increasing cases of coronavirus in the kingdom.
