غیرملکی خبررساں ادارے کی رپورٹ کے مطابق خادم حرمین شریفین شاہ سلمان بن عبدالعزیز نے 9 مارچ کو اعلان کیا تھا کہ کوروناوائرس کے خلاف معاونت کے لیے سعودی عرب ڈبلیو ایچ او کو ایک کروڑ امریکی ڈالر عطیہ کرے گا۔<\/p>\n

اسی ضمن میں سعودی عرب اور عالمی ادارہ صحت کے درمیان معاہدہ طے پاگیا۔ ڈبلیو ایچ او کے سربراہ ٹیڈروس نے سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹوئٹر پر ٹوئٹ کرتے ہوئے شاہ سلمان کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔<\/p>\n

ان کا کہنا تھا وبائی مرض کے خلاف سعودی عرب کی مسلسل کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے ترقی یافتہ جی 20 ممالک میں سعودی عرب کی یکجہتی اور قیادت کی تعریف کی۔<\/p>\n

عالمی ادارہ صحت کی جانب سے دنیا بھر میں کورونا وائرس سے بچاؤ کے لیے مالی معاونت کی اپیل کی گئی تھی جس کے بعد شاہ سلمان بن عبدالعزیز نے فوری طور پر ایک کروڑ ڈالر امداد فراہم کرنے کے احکامات جاری کیے تھے۔<\/p>\n

بعد ازاں ڈبلیو ایچ او کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل ٹیڈروس نے سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹویٹر پر کورونا وائرس سے بچاؤ کے لیے امداد فراہم کرنے پر سعودی قیادت کا شکریہ بھی ادا کیا تھا۔<\/p>\n
