پین امریکن ہائی وے گنیز ورلڈ ریکارڈز میں دنیا کی طویل ترین سڑک کا اعزاز رکھتا ہے۔ اس کی لمبائی 30,000 کلومیٹر (19,000 میل) ہے۔<\/p>\n

یہ سڑک امریکی ریاست الاسکا سے ارجنٹینا کے جنوبی سرے تک پھیلی ہوئی ہے۔ پین امریکن ہائی وے کا منصوبہ پہلی بار 1923 میں امریکہ نے تجویز کیا تھا۔<\/p>\n

1924 میں امریکی حکام نے لاطینی امریکہ کے 37 مندوبین کو دارالحکومت واشنگٹن میں طلب کیا جہاں اس حوالے سے ان کی رائے مانگی گئی تھی اور کچھ سالوں کے بعد ایک معاہدہ طے پایا جسے ’دی کنوینشن آن پین امریکن ہائی وے‘ کا نام دیا گیا۔<\/p>\n

اس معاہدے پر 1937 میں ارجنٹینا، بولیویا، کینیڈا، چلی، کولمبیا، کوسٹا ریکا، ایل سلواڈور، گوئٹے مالا، ہونڈوراس، میکسیکو، نکاراگوا، پاناما، پیرو اور امریکا نے دستخط کیے تھے۔<\/p>\n

تاہم اگر بات کی جائے کہ دنیا کی دوسری طویل ترین سڑک کونسی ہے تو وہ ہے ایشین ہائی وے 1۔ یہ 20,557 کلومیٹر (12,774 میل) ہے۔ یہ جاپانی دارالحکومت ٹوکیو سے ترکی اور بلغاریہ کی سرحد تک پھیلی ہوئی ہے، جو کوریا، چین، جنوب مشرقی ایشیا، بنگلہ دیش، بھارت، پاکستان اور ایران سے ہوتی ہوئے گزرتی ہے۔<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
