غیر ملکی میڈیا کے مطابق گورباچوف نے 1985 میں اقتدار سنبھالا، وہ اصلاحات متعارف کروانے اور مغرب سے تعلقات بحال کرنے کے لیے جانے جاتے تھے لیکن وہ 1991 میں سوویت یونین کو بکھرنے سے روک نہیں سکے۔<\/p>\n

کئی روسی شہری آج بھی ان کو اور ان کی اصلاحات کو ملک کے بکھرنے پر مورد الزام ٹھہراتے ہیں، میخائل گوربا چوف کا شمار 20ویں صدی کی سب سے اہم ترین سیاسی شخصیات میں کیا جاتا ہے۔<\/p>\n
