آئی ایم ایف نے شدید مالی بحران کے شکار ملک سری لنکا کو نیا قرض دینے سے انکار کرتے ہوئے کہ جب تک تباہ حال معیشت کو مستحکم کرنے کے لیے سخت اور ناگزیر اصلاحات نہیں کرلیتا تب تک مالی امداد ناممکن ہے۔<\/div>\n

عالمی خبر رساں ادارے کے مطابق انٹرنیشل مانیٹرنگ فنڈ نے دیوالیہ ملک سری لنکا کو نئے قرض کی فرہمی کو اصلاحات سے مشروط کردیا۔ ان اصلاحات میں کافی وقت لگے گا جب کہ کئی ماہ سے مہنگائی اور خوراک و ایندھن کی قلت کے شکار سری لنکا کے حالات مخدوش ہوتے جا رہے ہیں۔<\/p>\n

آئی ایم ایف کی جانب سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ سری لنکا میں بحرانی کیفیت پر فکرمند ہیں لیکن ایک مناسب میکرو اکنامک پالیسی فریم ورک بننے سے قبل نئی مالی امداد کی فراہمی ناممکن ہے۔ سری لنکا کو دیرپا اصلاحات اور اقتصادی استحکام پر توجہ مرکوز رکھنے کی ضرورت ہے۔<\/p>\n

بیان میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ اصلاحات کے بجائے سری لنکا اس وقت قرض میں سے 16 کروڑ ڈالر ادویات، گیس اور دیگر ضروری اشیاء پر خرچ کر چکا ہے۔<\/p>\n

خیال رہے کہ سری لنکا 51 ارب ڈالر کا غیر ملکی قرض ادا کرنے کی سکت نہ رکھنے کے باعث اپریل میں دیوالیہ ہوگیا تھا۔ صدر اور وزیراعظم شدید عوامی دباؤ اور احتجاج کے باعث مستعفی ہوکر بیرون ملک فرار ہوگئے تھے۔<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
